The Guardian issued a public apology regarding the photo of
Muhammadu Buhari which was provided as the one allegedly taken in
London.
The trip of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate to the UK was associated with numerous controversies. Some alleged that the opposition was lying about the real purposes of Buhar’s trip abroad.
Ekiti State governor Ayodele Fayose stated that the former military Head of State was not interviewed in London. He proved his point that the photos purportedly taken in London were made in Abuja.
The governor insisted the photo was doctored by the APC to deceive Nigerians.
